| I know, I know, it's been forever. I most of you probably think I don't exist anymore. I'm glad to report that I am in existence. Moving on...things have been really, REALLY busy. With school EOI testing and all the extracurricular activities going on, I manage to stay relatively busy. We just got back from the State Speech Tournament at OU, which I have to say was pretty rockin'. I actually didn't make it to finals (my first round was oddly overtime ) but it was the time of my life regardless. Mostly because I was just me, the homies, and all of our speech buddies from different towns hanging out, shooting the breeze, doing our thing, and playing Halo 3 in the lounge (my hats off to you, Stuart). On the ride home Mrs. Burch (speech teacher) called upon the talents of Jake Wedel and I to keep her awake while driving, which actually meant just continue our previous conversation, but in close proximity to her. We did that until she loaded up on Red Bull at the next gas station. Aside from State Speech, State Band Contest was that next week. We didn't do too hot (strait 2's across the board) and I thought we did better than that, BUT....we got to eat at Eskimo Joe's, so we were satisfied. We had fun, especially since I had found my phrase for the week their. It consisted of me yelling "Ugh.....I'm so good looking it hurts!!" in a pained voice. It was quite entertaining. Besides that, the only other thing I've been up to is going to Servant's Heart (best. church. ever.) and playing the crap out of my guitar. I'm excited about what God's doing in Servant's Heart. Ever since going there, it feels like God really IS moving in today's society, and we all have a purpose. I guess God just wanted the right atmosphere and the right people for me to be around, because everyone there is so annointed, and there's no mistaking it. Well, until next time guy. God bless, -Jordan | | |
| It's been awhile, huh? Sorry guys, just procrastinating I guess. So let's see...we're going to Mexico in about a week so...looking forward to that. I've just been chillaxing around the house and working with dad some. And babysitting Nate. Had to change a few stinky diapers...don't really want to relive those moments but...it has to be done. And for some reason he puts an "H" at the beginning of "guitar" so he calls them "hitars". I dunno . I've been drawing some more and reading. I've been teaching a cell group every Tuesday too. This last cell group was actually kind of just a hangout time with the homies, since Josh is going to work in California for a month and we won't see him. We played Guitar Hero II and ate pizza so...that was (and I'm going to steal Amanda's phrase here) the bomb.com. I've been learning some more "hitar" stuff too. I mostly play Hillsong or other praise music. I can bust out The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything if you want me to though . But I've still got a ways to go, naturally. Oh, and I got contacts yesterday so...as soon as I perfect the art of sticking foreign objects into my eyes, I'll be peachy. Here are some new drawings:

| Ok, so last Wednesday, we (my family and I) had just gotten through watching Lost (sweet-awesome show on ABC), and my dad had to go check the greenhouse heaters to make sure they were running correctly. He comes back inside (it's about 11:00pm by now) and has a box that was sitting on the patio outside. On this box is my name and address. No idea who it's from. Inside? One jet black video iPod. And a note. "Jordan, we heard your Mp3 pjlayer broke, hope this will do. We suggest buying the "Applecare" ($59.99) from Apple.com. It extends your warranty 3 years, and iPods are know for breaking in their second year. Have fun." As you can imagine, this was pretty (make that VERY) unusual, especially for getting the package this late at night (on a school night). To whoever gave me this gift, I am ETERNALLY grateful. I'll be sure to take good care of it. "And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you if you heed the voice of the Lord your God." -Deuteronomy 28:2 Increase is not an option.

| I say it's about time for a new blog. Ummm...alot's happened since I wrote last. I guess the most exciting thing was New Year's. Since it was Jake's birthday, we went bowling and then chillaxed and watched movies at his house. He lives on an acerage, so we were jumping hay bails. It was pretty fun. We counted down New Year's three times because we were going by three different clocks. I'm pretty sure everyone was up to their craniums in grape juice by the end. It was fun though. Uh...since then things have moved kinda slowly. The latest that is happening is that Vanessa (the foreign exchage student from Chile), is going back home after staying with us for a semester. She hung out with all the homies (Rachel, Brandon, Fabio, Alex, Jake, Josh, Lisa, Tiffany, and I) and hopefully we showed her a good time. We're having a going away party for her this Sunday afternoon. But we're keeping it on the DL cause it's a seeeeeeeeeecret. So, I've started hosting cell group at my house, and it's been pretty cool. And the homies and I might be starting a "band". The name is "(For the) Life of Me" and it might be awesome. But...we need to mature a little in the musical area. In other words I'm still learning. We were snowed in a couple times in the past weeks. It was kinda boring sometimes, but I was usually at Rachel's or vice versa. That staved off the bordem. Um...I've been drawing more, but I haven't put any in the compy. Well, until next time compadres. God bless, Jo'dan | | |
| ...Well I haven't blogged here in ages, so I figured I had better do sooner than later. Uhhh well recently I went to All Region Honor Band tryouts and made 2nd chair in concert band. Even more recently I went to Shortgrass Honor Band tryouts and made 13th chair concert. So yeah, that'll be fun. I found a new favorite band, Hawk Nelson. Uhhh well my friend Tiffany's 16th birthday party was yesterday. Friday me, Rachel, Josh, and Lisa got to help decorate. Then yesterday Josh and I went to Travis's (or "Fabio" as he's more commonly know among our friends) house to help his mom make the cake. They had me do the illustrations of Tiffany and the rest of us as stick figures to put on the cake. It was pretty neat. The party itself was awesome. Brandon brought his Nintendo Wii and we played boxing and tennis (mostly boxing) with the nifty little motion sensor controllers. We played musical tape (where there's tape on the floor and you dance around, but once the music stops you have to find a piece of tape to sit on or you're out.) Dad let the Theissens host the party in Zoots by the way. I think that's pretty much it...
